D.El.Ed is a 2-year full-time diploma course which is divided into 4 semesters. Candidates who have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply.

Admission process for the course comprises an entrance exam followed by a round of personal interview. D.El.Ed. Syllabus for the same varies from one college to another. All candidates who qualify the entrance exam are called for an interview. Based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, personal interview and marks obtained, he/she will be provided admission into the course.D.El.Ed. course plays a significant role in laying the foundation for further learning through a series of supervised experiences. D.El.Ed.: What is it About?

D.El.Ed.: Eligibility

D.El.Ed.: Admission Process

Admission process for this course in most of the colleges is based on entrance exam which is different for respective institutions. Candidates who cleared this entrance exam are further called for a round of personal interview. Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of 10+2 level are asked in the entrance exam.

Questions are asked in 3 sections in this exam. Separate cut off list for each section is issued. Those who cleared the cut off are selected for the course in various colleges.

D.El.Ed. NIOS

National School of Open Learning is an “open school” that caters to needs of students by providing education to interested learners by making available courses/programmes through open and distance learning (ODL) mode. NIOS provides D.El.Ed. course for a span of two years.

D.El.Ed. NIOS: Course Fee

Tuition Fee for D.El.Ed course is nearly INR 4500 to 6000 per annum.

D.El.Ed. NIOS: Eligibility

Students need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to D.El.Ed. (ODL). For untrained in-service teachers, the minimum qualification required is 50% marks (5% relaxable for reserved category) in 10+2 or any equivalent degree.

D.El.Ed. NIOS: Application Process

The application process for D.El.Ed. course will start tentatively in the month of August 2018 and it lasts for one month, that is September 2018. In some cases, The conducting body decides to extend the registration process for nearly 10 to 15 days in order to allow teachers to register if they haven’t.

D.El.Ed. NIOS: Admit Card

Admit Card for D.El.Ed. aspirants is available on official website nearly a month before the exam. The Exam is scheduled for April 2018, thus NIOS have released the NIOS D.El.Ed. Admit Card. Students can go to the official website and enter their credentials for downloading the admit card.

The conducting body releases the notification on the official website and students can follow the updates and notifications released by NIOS for D.El.Ed. Result.
